Lifting of any items at site is a major point to be safe from any injury. Any odd lifting may cause Vital - fatal injuries to any of worker at site.

Here are the steps you learned during your Tainting session, follow these steps - make sure all worker at site maintain all the time at any cost:

  1. Plan Ahead
  2. Plan how far to go
  3. Lift one item at a time
  4. Do not carry on shoulder
  5. Try to Push in lieu of Pulling
  6. Use hand cart / Pump Truck
  7. Ask help if item is heavy for you
  8. Make sure you are not dehydrated
  9. No smoking before and after carrying load
  10. Try not to reach above your shoulder height
  11. Take break as, and when needed during lifting
  12. Help others if your co workers need to lift item
  13. Take enough hydrating fluids after carrying load
  14. Ware Waist belt to have a support before you lift
  15. On the way to carry load take small steps (Instead of long steps)
  16. Make sure your path is clear (without having any object in your path of travel)
  17. Face the load -> Back Straight -> Knees bent -> Head Up -> Feet & shoulder width apart -> Load Close -> No Craning

Our SHE Safeguard Issue:

 

 

  1. EYE Protection:

1a) Our Workers use Eye Glass, Half Face Mask / Full Face Mask - as and when it is required by law,

as well as for the safety of their health

1b) Change Eye glass shield periodically, as and when it is required - so that they are able to see clearly

  1. lung Protection:

2a) Do not inhale or try to whiff any material at site

2b) Keep open of all nearest ventilation during working- unless it is prohibited by the Project Authority

2c) Always use dust mask when Sanding / Painting, and use Face Mask when spraying 2d) Clean and Wash your Hand and Face (including eyes & nose) after work

3e) Clean face before using any mask - in order to fit well with the contour of the face

  1. Skin Protection:

3a) Wear Coverall (with or without hood), as and when it is required to keep safety of their health

3b) Wear Gloves (Size and Quality as they trained during safety training)

3c) Wear Hard Hat (Quality as recommended by law) ,and as trained during safety training

3d) Wear safety Boot (Quality as recommended by CSA) ,and as trained during safety training

  1. FALL Protection:

 

4.1.  Erection of Ladder during work:

4.1.a) We keep clean all the nearby area where ladder is to be erected 4.1.b) Our Workers make sure that floor is properly level before Erection

4.1.c) Make sure that all 4- Legs are stable and no movement of ladder before climb 4.1.d) Make sure All Step are clean and free from any slippery items

4.1.e) If using ladder nearby any close door -make sure door is properly close with a caution sign - so one can open- without alerting

4.1.e) When the ladders are placed in the middle of a passage-must provide the Caution Sign in both side of ladder

4.1.f)  After completion of work keep ladder clean and move in safe place after folding

4.2.  Check Step Ladder:

4.2.a  We replace the ladder immediate after checking that they are not safe to use

4.2.b  ) We use construction grade ladder 4.2.c) We clean ladders periodically

4.2.c)  We move ladder in safe place after work
